Getting started with Homeschool…

If I knew then what I know now… well- I probably wouldn’t have so much curriculum we don’t use. I can tell you that much!

We are only starting our second year of homeschool and definitely don’t have it all figured out. But if I have learned anything, it is definitely that no homeschool family looks exactly alike. There is no “one size fits all” on schedules, curriculum, learning styles, or location…and thats exactly what makes it so beautiful. You get to perfectly curate what works best for YOUR OWN FAMILY! So, while I love giving curriculum recommendations and whatnot… it honestly doesn’t matter one lick if your kiddo doesn’t learn the same way mine does.

So here is what I have figured out when it comes to homeschool (or at least the most important things…)

This year we started implementing a loop schedule and absolutely love it. I made my own template because I wanted to be able to capture 4 weeks at a time (I laminated the template for each kiddo and then I photocopy for my own records before I wipe it clean.
